DIANA KRALL

Since the age of four, Diana, a world-class jazz musician, has displayed remarkable proficiency in playing the piano and even formed a jazz band during her middle school years. By the age of fifteen, she was actively performing music in various restaurants in her hometown of Nanaimo. When Diana turned seventeen, she secured a scholarship to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, thanks to her achievements recognized at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

In 1993, Diana Krall embarked on her musical career by releasing her debut album, titled “STEPPING OUT”. To date, she has produced thirteen albums, with her latest release being “THE VERY BEST OF DIANA KRALL” in 2007.

Diana Krall has earned the prestigious Grammy Award twice – first in 1999 for The Best Jazz Vocal Performance and again in 2002 for The Best Jazz Vocal Album.
